At the heart of Be About Your Business is our founder, Belinda B. Bennett, a dynamic entrepreneur who knows firsthand what it means to hustle while working a full-time job. Belinda’s journey began when she enlisted in the military straight out of high school—choosing service over the traditional college path. Even then, she showed signs of the visionary she would become. While serving, she launched her first side hustle by crafting and selling handmade “Candy Babies” as unique gift items for military families. She also leveraged her artistic talent to create custom drawings for clients, capturing cherished moments of their loved ones.
That’s when Belinda realized the power of creating multiple income streams—and how it could unlock a world of opportunity.
A woman of many talents, Belinda values family deeply. When her husband completed his military service, she made the intentional decision to transition out of the Army as well to help raise their three children. Back in civilian life, she utilized her strong organizational and computer skills to work as an office manager for several companies. Her ability to streamline operations, improve customer service, and understand company offerings translated into increased revenue and client satisfaction for the businesses she supported.
Never one to stop learning, Belinda became a lifelong student of business through her local community college’s small business center. Her persistence and passion for growth led her to successfully transition from employee to full-time entrepreneur. Today, she is the proud founder of multiple businesses, and she uses her personal experience to mentor, consult, and coach while supporting others who want to build and operate successful, passion-driven ventures.
Through her business management services, Belinda helps entrepreneurs establish strong business foundations, manage finances wisely, and prepare for growth. Her credibility is backed by real-world results—she has built business-to-business relationships with vendors that extend her company lines of credit, allowing her to manage large purchases and operational expenses with confidence.
In 2020, Be About Yours Inc. became a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE)—opening the door to government, state, and municipal contracts of all sizes. Now operating as Belinda Baker Bennett LLC under the DBA Be About Your Business, the company is positioned to support individuals and organizations ready to take their business goals seriously.
